The Art Exhibition

Hidden Artists is an exhibition of original large postcard sized art, measuring 10"x 8", donated  by a range of well known local, National and International artists.

Viewing will be from 9.30am on Tuesday 24th January 2012 until 1.30pm on Saturday 28th January 2012  at Denbies Picture Gallery, Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6AA.

The Artwork Sale

The art will be sold on Saturday 28th January 2012 from 2pm - 5pm and Sunday 29th January 2012.  The work will be sold on a first come first served basis and each buyer will be allowed to purchase a maximum of 2 pieces. Each artwork is priced at £50 but many are worth hundreds of pounds. Cash payment accepted only.

The Challenge

As implied in the exhibition’s title, each postcard is only signed on the reverse and the artist’s name remains hidden until revealed to the purchaser.

Raffle tickets for the first five places in the sale queue may be purchased during the viewing week up until 5 pm on Friday 27th January 2012 . All the artwork has been donated by the artists.  It is hoped that all costs will be met by the sponsors  enabling ALL monies raised to be divided equally between the NSPCC and the Rotary Club of Dorking Deepdene who will use the funds to help local good causes and charities.
